Lawsuit List

Here is a list of local lawsuits and prosecutions that I am following:

Jefferson County

  • Grindstaff vs. De Soto School District – fired principal suing the district
  • Golden vs. Pevely police – lawsuit claiming excessive force
  • Mahn vs. Wagner and 23rd Circuit – suit for employment discrimination related to an alleged politically motivated firing.
  • King vs. Jefferson County – former county public administrator suing, stating that he was not paid what he was supposed to be paid while he held office after the adoption of the county charter. Suit joined by other JeffCo county officeholders.
  • Nathan Stewart vs DOR – former JeffCo judge trying to get his license back after DWI arrest
  • State vs. Nathan Stewart – DWI case

Eastern District of Missouri

  • Hendrickson vs Waller et al – wrongful death lawsuit over an incident in the JeffCo jail.

I was just wondering why the Prosecuting Office and/or Jefferson County Sheriffs office appears to not be more concerned about the reported threats of Mr. McKee that he supposedly posted on Face Book. It has been reported before that he had an ongoing verbal conflict with a neighbor(s). He is also has pending charges 3rd degree Assault Charging pending on him. This, too, seems to be politically charged as the position Ms McKee holds and her association with the Circuit Court Judges that she worked with on a daily basis. Also, I see that the Mahn vs Wagner/MeKee lawsuit will be heard in the US District Court, East Missouri. My question is there any time frame when these two cases will be heard by respective courts.

The assault charge has been given to a Franklin County judge because of the potential conflicts. The next hearing there is 4/27 (and I guess he is also facing a municipal charge somewhere). The lawsuit was filed in District Court by Mahn. It is in the early going, so it may last awhile.

I understand that someone purchased the Teamster Camp in Pevely. Do you know any of the details about who bought it and for how much? thanks
